WHY
Topic: Older Photos
Why is there such a battle over film vs. digital? Why in deed do we have closed minds to such a simple thing as this?
Film by nature is the forth oldest way of preserving an image. Pre paper we have stone walls with early graffiti pictographs, then we find paper or a early form of canvas, then someone figured out how to put something on glass expose it to light dunk it and BAM Photograph, now comes film and lasted up to the last few years when digital hit the earth.
What is the big difference image is an image people still use stone to make images out of, still use cloth to make an image on or film. They put a film on cloth and print an image on it. the digital folks had glossy, flat, mat papers to print on now to just like the photographers what's up?
Well one day I was talking to some body about this and they said this to me and the group that was talking. "It's not the equipment but the person behind the lens"! Profound thought so what if you shoot a $5000.00 camera system or just a 10 dollar point and shoot. the method doesn't mean much if the person taking the picture can't convey his feelings through the shot!
Ponder that for now.

What is see through
Topic: Spirtual Thoughts
In this life sometimes what we see or don't see is not a true image of life our life. It is always filtered through what we have experienced, seen, felt, and read. But can one really be objective or only subjective?
The Native American way of traditional life connects everything to the earth all with in the circle of life. They call the earth "The Mother Earth" which many new agers have taken up and preverted into something not from the creator.
The Creator brought for the earth then man from the dust of the earth. HE breathed life into man and life came. Man choose to not listen to Creator and was put out and we are where we are today because man felt he knew better than the Creator.
What does this all have to do with life today? Well if we could learn to filter what we see hear and do through the eyes of the creator we would be able to see through the fog and haze. I remember how before my journy became centered on the person of Jesus Christ was full of fog, and the times where I couldn't see anything in front of my nose was because Jesus was not the filter for my life.
Now I can see what the Creator has made for us and why with perverting it to fit my non-creator centered mind.
